Backpacking

Comet hiking along Bull Run VA     Besides fresh air, you get to enjoy the beautiful scenery with your dog     Taking a break during a group hike

Backpacking is an ideal opportunity to spend one-on-one time with your dog, while getting healthy exercise and enjoying beautiful scenery. Be sure to train your dogs wisely, not allowing them to carry too much weight too soon. We never start serious backpacking until the dog is at least a year old and don't attempt Working Pack Dog legs until they're at least 18 months old.
